@jsnell I'm probably not the first to suggest this, but have you considered Claude Code instead of the Mac app for your proofreading use case? It can connect to local MCPs and you can pass a prompt to it directly on the command line, so at least theoretically scriptable. I also use @simon’s `llm` command line tool for scripting with various LLMs.
