@whosebodyisthis@mastodon.social I feel that... I'm not good at having a routine unless it's very late in the creative "process" (I can sit myself down to mix, but not to compose from scratch if that makes sense). I think it can be useful to ritualise it a bit though, I'll clear the table and throw the phone in the other room, make a coffee, my brain knows that that template is only used for being creative lol. I echo the time off too, I've always finished things during holidays, it's a satisfying immersion :P
