I am truly about to blow a fucking valve about technology no longer working.
I have an audiobook program on my Android phone. For some reason it is not compatible with the fob I used to connect my headphones to the phone, and constantly detects the fob hitting the play button, like constantly, so a single word might stop and restart five times, creating a disturbing, Max Headroom effect.

That audiobook software does not automatically download books when the phone is on a Wi-Fi network, so if I don't remember to do so manually while at home, it plays in streaming mode, which does not work on the subway, because my city still does not have telephone service underground. That phone has all kinds of new AI features, like the ability to eliminate all of the people from my photographs, and the subway system has millions of dollars worth of cameras to prevent fare jumping. 2/
