@xavdid@mastodon.social what I was not prepared for was the outright rebellion from 4mo to 8mo that our daughter waged, in which she refused to sleep without being held. This is outside of the whole milestone thing unfortunately. It was a bleak period, with constant daytime drowsiness; I even had vivid audio hallucinations of the baby crying, so even if she was fine I would still hear her all the time.
