@amapanda@en.osm.town yes, because you’d need to add for woman (unspecific), cisgender woman, or transgender woman to find all women so it covers generic and specific values.
Kinda like how OSM has `yes/no` sometimes or a more specific value if you know it.

@kevin@en.osm.town Yes that's basically what I said back at the start Wikidata has decided to do a “trans women are a different gender from women” approach. Which is, y'know, bad?
