@Drmowinckels@fosstodon.org only value for me is the scraping for data mining but beyond that i am trying to not join in the social cool urge to join it.
mastodon is quiet and calm for me, i like that engagement is low just means you are free to do other things. safety in the quiet. twitter was fun but also so captivating which i no longer want. i signed into instagram and 20 mins went by so fast and was really set on staying clear from algorithms.

@unicornCoder@fosstodon.org Thats so reasonable and healthy, I think! My current state keeps me from engaging too much, but I can see it may become an issue in the future. I'll have to keep an eye on it! Instagram and TikTok are done for me, because as you say, you just loose time!
