@secretsloth@mastodon.art These people are just not our brightest and best any more. Hanging on, biding time, resisting industrial sabotage minimally, decimated by disease, in offices that are under ventilated, overworked, acting as little more than a malfunctioning gateway to the diagnosis, therapy and drugs we really do need, and getting it wrong more often than not, their working life no longer allows them the mental space to get it right.
A form of denialism is the outcome.

@secretsloth@mastodon.art ...and now we've been taking metabolic damage so long, we are starting to die off and get permanent life altering organ damage, renal, circulatory, and neurological. Five years waiting for the study of metabolism to catch up with COVID infections, create a pathology, a therapy, a treatment regime, and to get realistic about medication. It's a total procedural failure.
