i feel like despite seven years of this i havent made any meaningful progress toward not being seen as a man. when most of the people in my city treat me like a man even when im very clearly presenting fem, it hurts :( im constantly reminded that ive done a terrible job of chasing my transition goals, and without the recognition of others im effectively still living as a man. going out in public is just an exercise in highlighting everything im dysphoric about and everything that leads others to calling me he/him
forget passing, i dont even look like im even trying to present fem; theyre not even seeing me and thinking "transfem", they just look at me and see a guy in a dress and treat me accordingly
i dont know what im doing wrong but it hurts to know ive failed so badly and that ill probably never be treated as fem by randos in general
im sad

@rachaelspooky@cyberpunk.gay I know this might not help, because I know how dyspboria is. But I genuinely have no idea how or why they would do that. Every single picture of you I have seen, my brain has immediately thought "she is so pretty". Like I can only assume its similar to what I deal with, where people are actively malicious. I mean you are genuinely so pretty in every picture I have seen. And I mean that in as platonic of a way as I can. I cannot understand how or why they would do that. :neoredpanda_heart:
