@trashpandaqc@mastodon.online sidetracking and going offtopic, i got curious how one does it in a laptop. You use max loops or something similar? And yes, i also organize concerts in a location, and i need sometimes to be the person protecting thd system or at least crossing fingers.. things usually dont go wrong, usually noise musicians do something like Risk Aware Concious Noise, but still accidents happen.. I may print a tshirt with that.

  • @GubbiAnn@mastodon.art I’ve used Ableton, Sunvox, and Plogue Bidule for feedback, the only real requirement is routing a track back into itself, the hp + compressor so it doesn’t fry, and a little input to start (since there’s no noise inherent to the system) most of the music I’ve released with this alias is made with groovebox-ish live patches I made in Bidule. in those I have a matrix mixer for effects that saves routing with each pattern preset, and I can switch between feedback or not as I perform.
