@GubbiAnn@mastodon.art maybe this very difficile effect comes into play: to build an oscillator, the feedback loop needs a very tiny portion of noise in the beginning, otherwise nothing will start to happen. This noise usually comes from dirt in the power line, grounding issues, human made electrosmog or extraterrestrial sources. So my guess is, the grounding is probably weak and the human made smog on stages is just up (lights etc..).
Maybe this can be better controlled with a 100% battery setup.

@noisio@chaos.social i sometimes use an am/fm radio (in the picture, just for white noise) in the second stereo input to start reluctant feedback. Or do the god forbidden unplugging and plugging a jack. Yesterday this not working (and maybe tell tale symptom the radio through pedals without no input was almost imperceptible, even if the reception was working - tested without pedals) Will definitely also look into this all you wrote. And will report findings if i have. All your contributions help so much!!
