@GubbiAnn@mastodon.art Perhaps - there are all kinds of things that can go wrong when you put untried stuff in the way. I am no electronic engineer but impedance mismatch could be an issue and who knows what was in the DI box. Some filter but there role in different impedance signals might be an issue. How low are the signals in your system when at home? Sorry can't be more helpful.

At home the mixer output was at 11 o clovk and the soundvsystem wad audible "but dont disturb the neighbours much after 22h". special yesterday case, at the location i my mixer output was barely touching 8 o clock or ocasionally 9 o clock . for some reason the engineer pushed everything quite up (even if small location) and was already quite loud.
