and if you're worried about your gender becoming enshittified when you update you should really be running an open source gender rather than one of the corporate options

also i should note: if you do find yourself with a deprecated or otherwise unsupported gender the safest thing to do for now is probably just delete it. you can always install a new one later (or not)

@ana@starlite.rodeo i wrote my own gender but it’s closed source. i don’t even release the binary (bc there is none)
