@SusiArnott@mastodon.green @kaito02@mastodon.social @firstdogonthemoon@aus.social Did you know that with Three-Mile Island the computer tried to SCRAM the reactor by flooding it with water. However the human operators overrode the computer multiple times. I really want to find and slap the genius who thought it was a good idea to allow humans to override a computer failsafe. The reactor hall contained the meltdown like it was designed to, so just a very expensive mess.
