@paul@tapbots.social Just sounds like a win-win scenario -- they get extra compute and Musk gets a PR win for his forthcoming absurd SpaceX/allThingsMusk IPO.
And to that end, they get to feign interest in 'orbital AI compute capacity' to lend that DOA brainfart of an idea credibility.
FWIW, I don't pretend anyone involved in this AI space is remotely ethical or moral. They're not; they just make occasional noises in that direction for PR reasons.
