just a shout out to @jasonsantamaria and his incredible work on citywide (https://jasonsantamaria.com/blog/citywide-updated-and-expanded) i had a very, very small macos rendering issue on low pixel density screens for the variable version of the font. the fix was not easy or obvious, and it sounds like it required a lot of manual work, but in less than 24 hours jason had sorted it out. thank you!
