spun up a #pixelfed instance in a bit of a non-standard way (ideally fully private, non-federated) as an attempt to help get all of my fam and friends off insta. i know it's going through a bit of a revamp right now, but as of today `RESTRICTED_INSTANCE` just... doesn't work? https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/issues/4830 i might check back in later, but that's a non-starter for me.
