@monster@tech.lgbt at first I was like "wtf why are you talking to claude like it's a sentient thinking being"
But actually this is genius. We're at a point where masses of people trust the AI more than they trust experts.
If Bernie told people "foreign parties use AI to influence elections", they wouldn't believe it. But hearing the AI itself say it - that's different.

@ninafelwitch@tech.lgbt @monster@tech.lgbt I couldn't stomach the whole thing. It's a novel stunt but I don't like the idea of Sanders treating Claude as a thing that holds a conversation with him; is going to further legitimize the entire conception of AI as a fully capable autonomous thing
