I would have expected 'neurodivergent' to be a term for something like epilepsy, where you might consult with a clinical neurologist, yet it's the term used to categorise things diagnosed by clinical psychologists; things which consist of a collection of traits which lie towards a particular extreme, but are not necessarily caused by a great difference in wiring.
