As a Brit residing in Berlin, I feel distressed watching the world’s negative, but understandable, reaction to Scholz‘s abstinence regarding the delivery of tanks to Ukraine. He‘s opening Germany’s healed wounds which have taken decades to heal. More demonstrations by the German population will be necessary to show their anger and frustration at Scholz‘s unwise decision.
