@schmiddionmobile@fosstodon.org Dose it use sufisticated feed logic like Newpipe (ongoing sessions to fetch metadata, scheduling that adapt to the upload frequency of a channel and so on) to prevent IP block from fetching many channels? I tried to look into creating a desktop youtube client before and feed logic was one of the main issues, especially because at least from what I could find youtube-dl lacks proper bulk fetching that keeps a single session up rather than opening many
