I use it sometimes.
So I drive a Jeep Wrangler. There is a camaraderie among Wrangler drivers - we wave to each other when passing on the street. Often the "peace sign" is used as this greeting, as it is easy to do while keeping your hand on the steering wheel.

@DXMacGuffin@metalhead.club Motorcyclists recognise each other with a wave or a definite head nod. (better because both hands remain on the handlebars). Campervan drivers, particularly VWs, will wave to each other. Although, the wave often isn't given or received by those driving humungus mobile homes. Snobbery? 😃
