While researching the Airport Alphabet, I stumbled upon a favorite design book of mine: A sign systems manual by Alan Fletcher, Colin Forbes, and Bob Gill. It's one of the few sources that provides the original shapes of the Airport alphabet. So, I definitely had to get my hands on it. I was lucky enough to find a copy online at a reasonable price. After a long journey from the UK to Germany, first by train to Antwerp and then by mail, I was thrilled to hold it in my hands.
