@on_code@mastodon.gamedev.place honestly you could tripple the cost of computers and I don't think it would be any dent on the budget of most hospitals, they are buying medical grade calibrated scanning equipment for hundreds of thousands while fulfilling some very expensive wages. Schools on the other hand are being pushed more and more towards low-cost low quality e-waste or predatory hardware loan schemes or inadequate tablet devices ​:akko_sad:​
