@QueerMatters@mstdn.social COVID was when I gave up on climate change. Even if you ignore the millions of dead, and the millions more left disabled, the neoliberal hegemony couldn’t bring themselves to incur large short-term financial costs for an enormous long-term financial benefit, and climate change is several orders of magnitudes larger in all these factors.
