GitHub Copilot fully paused individual subscriptions for Pro, Pro+, and Student plans, as well as tightening usage limits, and removing Anthropic's Opus models.

Part three - yesterday, Anthropic ran a fake door test on new signups, showing Claude Code as unavailable on the Pro plan, indicating that it would only be available on Max ($100 a month) plans and above. You could argue this is also growth hacking and not *just* about removing access for Pro subscribers. No Pro subscriber lost access to Claude Code, but it showed the appetite to raise that bar was there, to start not-so-gently sliding the rug. https://x.com/GergelyOrosz/status/2046782134166114482
