It shouldn’t be a full 35% cheaper to book Manchester to Stafford and then Stafford to Worcester than it costs to book Manchester to Worcester, successive govts have had decades to fix this nonsense and the best they’ve managed is announcing a ban on return tickets, which was apparently then cancelled anyway
