@joe@f.duriansoftware.com I think they removed them as part of the transition to the self-hosted compiler. For reasons I don't fully understand, they rejected adding back the existing feature in favor of this redesign: https://github.com/ziglang/zig/issues/23446. It presupposes the existence of some restricted function pointers that know all of their callees via comptime magic: https://github.com/ziglang/zig/issues/23367.
