1. Who the hell is Tenzing Norgay?
2. Why did I know this reference?
The answers are,
1. he was the guide for Sir Edmund Hillary on the first successful expedition up Everest
2. NO IDEA!

Anyway, I bring this up because I just heard on NPR that they found a duck on Mount Everest that was nearly frozen to death and they took it to base camp and nursed it back to health and named it Tenzing. #storytime #MountEverest #tenzingtheduck 3/3
