@pedro@mastodon.pepicrft.me Hello Pedro. Bear in mind that a lot of what we think has to do with what we hear, or the input we receive, and in this case, a lot of our current headlines are in serious misalignment. What do I mean by that? @pedro@mastodon.pepicrft.me The view which is more in alignment with how things are, which is being expressed by many who are not CEOs is that: - The more LLMs are used in human interactions, the more sensitive people will be towards them, almost seeking flaws in communication to confirm that the one on the other end of the line is a human - AI didn't take jobs, seniors did when they replaced juniors/mid devs with AI tools, a decision they will soon regret, resulting in a temporary weakening of low/mid tech jobs

@pedro@mastodon.pepicrft.me The attitude on AI replacing job is a pandemic of identity confusion/fear. It has nothing to do either with AI as a technology or with employment as an aspect of society. It's just a manifestation of how the average persons is unable to cope psychologically with this emerging technology, an issue that is at the forefront of our civilisation which is being worsened by the crap many of these CEOs are spewing out in an attempt to promote their products. We, the wiser people need to speak up
