@alienghic@timeloop.cafe There is a company called "Re:Food" in Germany that does similar things on a larger scale. Not end-users, but leftover stock at groceries and supermarkets.
At one point they changed their rules so that all collected items must be unpackaged.
Long story short: Noone noticed, noone checked, and they ended up dumping shredded plastic everywhere.
