Boomers at 40: "yeah we're almost done with working, a few more years and we'll get to enjoy that early retirement"
Millennials at 40: "ok it's time to stock up on rice and dried beans so maybe we can survive the next winter"

@antanicus@puntarella.party bha, insomma, una parte consistente dei c.d. boomers sono rimasti fregati tra fornero e quota 100 e sono finiti esodati per anni prima di finire in pensione. La storia dei boomers privilegiati mi sembra più una favoletta che altro. D'altra parte sono categorie che hanno anche poco senso

@antanicus@puntarella.party Ditto the GenX who got disowned early. Boomers got it all and plan on electing ever more psychotic old men until one of them presses the button cause they want to take it with them and make sure no one else gets it.
