@iain@kolektiva.social I don't remember any other examples when Ubuntu was drafting it's code back in 2004. In that case the goal was to assert some values for a community that didn't exist yet, so it wouldn't just adopt those of whoever joined first. @mako@social.coop was the main person drafting that document, so perhaps he has some insight?
