Do you use Teams and Outlook at work? Does your Outlook show a "Viva Insights" button on the toolbar? For fun, go to the following and browse around:
https://insights.cloud.microsoft.com/#/PersonalApp/Home/
They're tracking:
-How many minutes you spend reading email
-How many minutes you spend composing emails
-Who you talk to most and least frequently in terms of email and meetings
-How many meetings you organize
-How many of those meetings have a high attendance
-How many meetings overlap with others
-How many meetings you actually focused and do not multitask doing other things
-What percentage of meetings you join on time
-How many meetings are of a short duration
-How many minutes you spend chatting with others
-When your core work hours are based on when you are active, when your lunch is, etc
Now, consider how many meetings you are in where CoPilot is turned on and the data it is gathering.
Your employer now has a full profile of what hours you work, what you do, who you talk to, what you talk about, how much you participate, and how "efficient" you are being down to the minute.

@keirFox@tiggi.es I haven't seen that yet but is this maybe only baked into it if you toggle the "New" Outlook switch? I have been avoiding doing so for as long as I can hold out because I did for like a day and hated the ever loving hell out of it. Janky, buggy, and missing features out the yinyang.

@keirFox@tiggi.es And once that data exists to be misused and misinterpreted, it's a guarantee it will be.

@keirFox@tiggi.es Not surprising coming from Microslop. I'm just surprise they're not collecting the files and what we typed in mails or said during meetings. But still a shit ton of things.
