A sort of GUI Alt-Tab but much more flexible when combined with staggered overlapped windows.

@the_wub@mastodon.social @tokyo_0@mas.to Yes. Another nice trick (not RISC OS, AFAIK) is tabbing windows. See the Fluxbox X11 window manager. However, it's not an easily discovered feature. And given the fact how-g'dafwul-many people keep all their windows maximized, back-to-stack is virtually indistinguishable from minimization for that subset of users. A genuinely useful feature, and discoverable at that, is window shading/rollup. That is easy to understand.
