@alexantemachina@mastodon.social @Spieltag@sueden.social @SebJac@norden.social I can be very fast on my Brompton (C-line, 6-speed model) which surprises some people on "ordinary" bicycles (judging from the look they give me). While I can reach high speed both on my "big" bike (touring) and Brompton, I would say that Brompton really excels in acceleration, for example when starting from standing position at a traffic light.

@alexantemachina@mastodon.social @Spieltag@sueden.social @SebJac@norden.social doch, auch mir ist aufgefallen, dass das Brompton teils flotter als ein Treckingrad ist. Kommt auf die Situation an. Es ist vor allem sehr viel leichter und wendiger, also man kommt schneller in Gang und hat am Berg einen deutlichen Vorteil. Auf flacher Ebene dann eher nicht, da macht sich die andere Haltung bemerkbar.
