My take
It’s a rhetorical question. The world has always been inclusive.
Diversity is how we got here period. It’s what allowed the world to thrive before the guy royals decided they needed to start burning the witches, and hating all types of diversity.
Love was meant to mean love, except for nobles, who married for control, and did all kinds of buggery to whomever else they wanted.
So patriachial and parochial, nobility.

@the_wiggler@mastodon.social @rail_@bark.lgbt Still women’s rights had a lot more suppression over time. Especially throughout religious time again patriarchal. Remember those witch burnings not so much all female witches. Rather any norm violator. Largely throughout history LGBTQA and other kinds of humans have existed and at some points were the norm. I think we can always strive to do better to make the world a better place for equality, and stand against any form of fascism.
