@dzwiedziu@mastodon.social also it's worth noting that we have a really decent offer of direct international connections from Poland from Warsaw you can take a direct train for rtelatively cheap to Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Kyiv With a single change at the border you can go to Vilnius and Lviv too from Southern Poland you can even go as far into Austria as to Graz and with a single change end up in Zürich that is really nice

@rail_@bark.lgbt I even appreciated this twice in my life with an overnight train from Kraków to Vienna and back two decades ago. Personally I needed it work to and from Luxembourg, but a year ago it was absurd 24-ish hours 4-6 changes (guess what country is in between⸮). Now it seems 15-20hrs and 3-4 changes, but still this is no trip with an older dog. But that's a past problem, given the situatuion.
