@ngaylinn@tech.lgbt "I'm honestly afraid that Silicon Valley will forget how to make good software well," "has long forgotten" would be the correct tense. As long as I remember, I get nearly daily updates on my phone and hardly any are visible improvements. As a famous German blogger once put it: "ship it as soon as the update mechanism is working" is the quality we get. But no doubt AI will make this abysmal for all the reasons you list.
