There are two non-contiguous regions of the USA where women wear high dress boots with a dress. Texas and Louisiana of course, but then I've seen it in Atlanta, Buckhead.
Where else are they seen? Oklahoma and dairy country
And we kinda have to put norteño culture aside and just consider las gringas.
Farm kids up here at the cattle judging.

@tuban_muzuru@beige.party I've never really thought about that but I suspect it's true. I live in a small town outside of Houston now and routinely see women (young and old) wearing cowgirl boots with a dress or skirt. The young woman wearing her jeans tucked in her boots isn't something I see except in those who are kind of playing dress up so to say or on the other extreme like this young woman for practical working reasons where one doesn't want to dirty up or ruin their jeans.
