Usually when I hear these stories, the back story is "we asked for X and management said no", but it makes sense that you'd unionize under good management, knowing how quickly situations can change.

@csilverman@mastodon.social I mean, unionizing usually *is* a corrective/protective measure! But I just wanted to note that contract language can cover multiple cases: it can fix what’s broken, keep what’s working, *and* it can try to build something better.
