Algorithms are fine. The Internet and all of Informatics is based on them.
In social media, Algorithms should be open, documented, and optional.

Yes well I hope that the way I described the ‘vouch’ and ‘trust’ scores is not just fully open, but simple enough to describe in seconds. Even better, it’s fully in your control. Tap on “Friends of Friends”, and tweak the cofactor% and the filter% sliders. EDIT: And whenever you disagree with a score, just ‘vouch’ them to zero or -100 … your followers will inherit your (dis)trust
