On average Members of Congress make 600% returns on their stock portfolio and that is simply because they are privy to inside information. Everybody knows it, yet when I introduced bipartisan legislation to ban stock trading in Congress, Hakeem Jeffries blocked it. Yet if normal civilians, or in this case, military members engage in insider trading they face decades in jail???
