Today's stop and discovery point was #CamberSands, near #Rye, at the estuary mouth of the River Rother. On a day like today, warm, cloudless, and a slight south-easterly wind blowing, it was fabulous. Added bonus - almost empty.👍 A first again for both of us, the only stretch of pure sandy beach along the south coast until #TheWitterings, near #Chichester A further bonus was being able to spot a common tern, a little tern, and a sandwich tern between the dunes and the water's edge. #southcoastengland #terns #birdsofmastodon #CommonTern #littletern #sandwichtern
