my thinkpad p14s gen 5 battery's state (capacity, charge, etc.) is no longer reported by the system but still obviously functions normally at the hardware level (stays on while unplugged, charges and discharges). I've done a system and firmware update but the problem persists

@diz@thegayagenda.fans did you try shipping mode? that's usually the only way to turn off / reset the PD controller
