I don't like making negative posts, but I feel so gaslit. Am I really the only person who has nothing but problems with #wayland ? I've been on #PopOS_COSMIC for a few months now and nothing works right, my drawing tablet isn't detected properly, games don't grab my mouse focus, none of this feels ready to go live at all.
Sorry, rant over, positive posts will continue 😅

@oven@mastodon.gamedev.place nah, wayland is underbaked just as it ever was. You get at most a "good enough" experience

@oven@mastodon.gamedev.place I mean tbf, Cosmic is a super new desktop vs something like Plasma that's had a lot more time to grow. There are definitely problems but it's probably a better experience than Cosmic.
