@ilyess@mastodon.online I still can't believe people use the same passwords on multiple services.
Or that I ever used to do the same thing on "disposable" or rarely used sites, despite working in IT.

@xinit@mastodon.online Security and convenience rarely go together and most users have the tendency to favor the latter. Pair this with their reluctance to trying new software, like a password manager, and you end up with “monkey123” being subconsciously entered into any password field encountered online. I used to be guilty of this in a previous life myself. It’s never too late to start inching towards the “security” end of the spectrum.
