@johan@social.terbeest.org @reillypascal@hachyderm.io I don't want to make assertions about what someone who is gone would or wouldn't have liked, especially someone whom I didn't personally know, but considering that he always kept Vim's development slow moving so nothing would ever break, I can't imagine he would've been happy with adopting a technology whose main selling point is "it lets you move really fast and break things"

@reiddragon@fedi.catto.garden @reillypascal@hachyderm.io that’s my feeling too from everything I know about him but yeah, probably shouldn’t have said it exactly like that. It’s just so frustrating to see more and more people just kinda give up and do things that will turn out badly
