When it comes to climate change, it’s hemming and hawing and postponing and cancelling and budget cuts and self-congratulations over future goals and then never actually aiming for those goals. But when it comes to things that are bad for the climate there is always immediate, rapid, highly-prioritized action including taking on historically unprecedented loan debt. —My liege, we need help! —Eh, I don’t know, maybe, naw, we need to prioritize other things… We can’t be spending on addressing climate cha– —But the thing I need is bad for the climate! —Oh then hells yess!
