@Devils_Rancher@beige.party this type of slogan is occasionally quite frustrating: those calculators *have* had bugs over the years, returning incorrect answers. they've also gained significant additional functionality from the earliest ones to ones you'd buy new today
gotta keep this in mind while criticizing all the un-features

@r@glauca.space It was a general statement made in blithe humor, probably borne of my antipathy towards AI and someone using 100 server farms to answer the question “what is 366 divided by 17?” I don’t feel any overarching need to be exactly correct about all ancillary facts when cracking wise at 7 am on Sunday. I’m sorry if I frustrate you, but I’m a generalist end-user of technology so the arcane details of calculator development elude my layperson’s view of these bugs and advancements. I do know a guy who knows COBOL though. 🙂
