@geoffl@mastodon.me.uk oh, and a random fact: I have DS/DD 80-track diskettes that are formatted in a peculiar way: the first track on each side is the standard 1024 byte sectors ×8 per track, but second track and on are 512 bytes ×16 instead.

@geoffl@mastodon.me.uk Those 1024 byte sectors are plain CP/M boot stuff, but then it hands control off to something wild and untamed, a graphics-mode selection pane for ZX Spectrum tape images!
